“We don’t like to believe miracles exist, but they do. Things happen; we can’t explain them; we can’t control them, but they do happen. Miracles do happen in medicine. They happen everyday; just not always when we need them to happen.”
It’s in times of loss that I question my belief in miracles. Unlike what the quote says, I do like to believe that miracles exist. I like to because it’s happy and positive and I try to stay positive in times when I really need a miracle to happen.
But what happens when you being positive doesn’t pay off? What happens when the miracle you were praying for doesn’t come true? I start to question whether I think miracles are real or not. Until the next thing comes up in life that I need a miracle for, my hope has diminished.
Do you believe in miracles?

My belief in miracles has withered and died over the years. However, I do still believe in luck, which is sometimes rather close to the same thing.
