“Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
I’ve been spending a lot of time at the hospital. I am finding my way around the hospital quite well and keep finding myself reading this quote. It is down the hall from the surgical intensive care unit and on the way to the cafeteria. The quote is by the elevators where everyone can see it.
It is important to remember that you need to have faith. You need to know that whomever you are visiting in the hospital will make it through their injury. Reading this quote today when I was at the hospital made me believe just a little bit more.
I know it sounds silly, but when things are so hard and so depressing, a little thing like brightly colored walls and an uplifting quote puts a smile on a persons face.
